Modchip Xecuter 2 (XBOX)

Witam, mam duży problem, dostałem dzisiaj Xboxa (v1.1) ma wlutowanego modchipa Xecuter 2, w XBMC pisało, że ma biosa 4973 (1.1) i prosiłbym o pomoc kogoś obeznanego w temacie, jak zmienić bios na 5035 wyczytałem gdzieś, że też musi być jakiś plik konfiguracyjny. Zależy mi na tym aby obsługiwał LBA48, mógłbym grać na kopiach zapasowych i nie trzeba było blokować HDD. Na koniec, gdzie te pliki trzeba wrzucić?

Wejdź na #XBINS i ściągnij. W paczce z fw będzie opis czym i jak. Musisz jednak wiedzieć jaki to jest konkretnie modchip (X2 trochę było) i jakie ma banki (256 czy 512).

Nigdy nie flashowałem kości w moim klocku, a tym bardziej z poziomu XBMC.

Z mojego dochodzenia wyszło, że to Xecuter 2 Lite, nie mam pojęcia jakie ma banki bo totalnie się nie znam, XBMC posłużyło mi tylko do sprawdzenia jaki ma bios. Mam jakieś biosy, ale nie znam english i nie wiem co trzeba robić.

Well, we're back. Its been just over a year since we last worked
on the X2 Bios series and what a year it's been. With the phenominal
success of the X3 Mod hardware and software now on the market we felt
that it was about time we went back to visit an old freind.

We figured we should give the scene a boost with the release of a
decent bios that works on ALL chips (that support a 512k bios at least).
So you see, Xecuter even has some love for Xenium & Smartxx users :p

As usual this is a work in progress - we think we nailed all bugs this
time but someone will find something somewhere

- added: if nothing could be booted (no dvd and no dash) then an XBE called "rescue.xbe" is run from DVD drive,
so, if nothing else boots, THIS XBE WILL BOOT !!
- note: So just in case the ini file gets fucked up and the xbe boot name gets erased/whatever, then it's reset to
"default.xbe" so you'll be able to boot evoXdash or whatever.... (if disableCdromBoot is switched off)
If you switch on the disableCdromBoot setting and got no frigging single working dash on your harddrive then the
system now does a fallback boot and tries to boot "rescue.xbe" from dvd - so this will ALWAYS enable you to boot
an avalaunch/evoxdash/whatever from dvd to fix your ini!

You should be made aware of some issues that we discovered and
has probably had some of you tearing your hair out.

If you have games like GTA, GTA Vice City and Fifa 2004 etc and
they are crashing during the game then you will find they operate
and AUTOSAVE check which uses your system clock. Now if your system
clock is corrupt then it will crash a number of titles which use
AUTOSAVE. One clock we found corrupt had a date/time setting of
15/11/8097. The second the clock was fixed in the MS Dash all the
games that crashed worked just fine with no problems whatsoever.

You should also be aware that some apps especially FlashX v1.2 are
also crashing - this is down to the EVOX IGR / TSR. You should disable
all EVOX IGR / TSR and this will get things moving nicely.

Also in case you didn't know X2 Bios Manager v2.3 was also released.
It's now extremely reliable and supports flashing both the Lite and
Pro X2 mods. It even has a new Internet Updatable MD5 bios listing.
Another extra is to be able to flash the X2 pro using a lite programmer
if you ever needed to. Get it from here:

Nie można go dzielić na dwa banki.

Sczytaj fw ze swojego Xbox'a i zobacz jaką wielkość ma obraz kości. Jesteś absolutnie pewien, że jest to X2 Lite?

Nie doczytałem się o braku wymaganego ustawionego ata passwd.

Tego niestety wiem. Niewykluczone, że Config Magic posiada taką możliwość. W drugą stronę flashować można na pewno Evox'em (dashboard), można też wpisać mu w evox.ini sumy MD5 i być może trafisz na swój bios.

Dowiedziałem się, że mój chip ma dwa banki po 512kb co rozwiązało problem jakiej wielkości bios mogę wgrać, że obsługuje LBA48, plik konfiguracyjny nie jest potrzebny choć wprowadza pewne usprawnienia i dysk twardy nie musi być zablokowany. Po prostu uzyskałem odpowiedzi na moje pytania, nie musiałem bawić się w jakieś szczytywanie fw albo ściągać coś z XBINS.

Jaka porażka? Napisałem wcześniej, że musi być pewien jaki ma modchip, ile i po ile ma mieć banków. Jeśli nie jest się absolutnie pewnym to można zrobić bricka (i wtedy pozostaje wylutować chip albo zrobić jego hotswap na innym Xbox'ie z tym samym chipem i ponownie sflashować). Dlatego poleciłem sczytać bios. Napisałem też, że ja nigdy nie zmieniałem u siebie fw bo mnie Evox M8+ wystarcza (tym bardziej, że Duo X2, który miał dwa banki mi zdechł, a na Duo X2 Lite nie chciałem ryzykować - ledwo tego chipa dostałem).

Po za tym czy ja muszę się znać na *wszystkim*? Mogę czasem czegoś nie wiedzieć, prawda? Akurat w tym przypadku nie widzę, żebym cokolwiek złego polecił użytkownikowi. Mało tego, użytkownik nawet zaryzykował flashem biosem niewiadomego pochodzenia (soft dla X'ów ciągnie się wyłącznie z #XBINS).
