help format mc ps2 with mca cli

Please I need help to format 4 MC that are not recognized in PS2, ulaunchelf, mca 2.0 using radshell 0.6v and mca 1.0 cli and USB keyboard the mca cli file I renamed to mca.elf and the file is in the root of the pendrive but I saw this error and could not progress:
mc in slot0

Card is dead, give it a rest. Buy new one for 2$ and be happy.

Is it not possible to recover it with low level formatting? There were 4 mcs dead, they all stopped shortly after formatting with mc annihilator and installing funtuna. The power supply of the mc ports on the ps2 slim 90000 is good.
