I am guessing these discs are the 43812 version ?
(or the American product code?)

And, what year were these from you think ? Or, bought when and in/from what country ?

As some of these look very close to average Panasonic scans! At least at 2x.

But much cheaper discs and not to mention still in production. So I wonder if similar quality is available today in Europe webshops.
(and if 43838/non-printable would be better?)

These are not Verbatim 43812. The UPC code is 4 991348 066994 and they look like the photo below.



They seem to have been discontinued, and are VERY hard to find now. For a while MediaRange had the same MID and same quality, but I don't think they still do.

I am not allowed writing any links here yet, but put that number in a fleabay search, and plenty show up (?). Or are those 'different' ?

The first item that shows up, where you can see the UPC, appears to be the right item. The rest likely are, but without the UPC I'm not 100% sure.

Ok, I see.

Funny thing is, I actually bought this exact type of spindle as a test, 5 years ago (Nov 2018)...

But concluded they were shite vs the 43812 version I had at the time (which scanned much better). So never looked at those Mitsubishi ones after that (until now).

Mediarange labled 6x BD-R (out of a new MR514 25 pack)

burned @ 8x (P-CAV)

Pretty nice for these Mediarange discs, especially at 8x speed. I like the 213 series.
