hi, i have a TEAC_BD-W512GSA with PT11 firmware. It's one of those drive that needs the workaround with Optidiscdrive to complete scan (or it stuck at the beginning) so it's NOT a ihbs112 first gen clone.

1) Could i crossflash it to Plextor PX-B950SA or LB950SA ?
2) Should i use EEPROM Utility 6.20SE to crossflash it?
3) Would it be worth it to crossflash it?

Po kilku nieudanych próbach zakupu zewnętrznej nagrywarki od PLEXTOR zakupiłem używaną iHBS-112 pierwszej generacji z przebiegiem odpowiednio DVD/BD 52/54.
Posiadam również BH16NS55 z FW of VINPOWER WH16NS58 w celu aktywowania odczytu jakości nagrania ale sama jakość nagrywania tą nagrywarką nie jest rewelacyjna.
Chciałbym zrobić crossflash iHBS-112 do PX-B950B ale nie mogę nigdzie znaleźć FW w wersji .bin. Czy mógłbym prosić o podesłanie takiego?


Natrafiłem również na ebay'u na nowe nagrywarki BW-12B1ST i BD-5300S bo chciałbym zakupić sztukę na zapas ale nie wiem czy to nie są czasem jakieś podróbki.

Poza tym poszukuje dobrych BD-R do tej nagrywarki bo moje PANISONIC 6x MERIA1 już mi się skończyły. Szkoda, że już nie są dostępne. Jakościowo najlepsze jakie maiłem. M-DISK od Verbatim tez jest ok ale tylko ok.

Thank you. I've already crossflashed 2 SONY 5300S (rev.2) to Plextor.
It was very simple and now very useful - Plextor utilits and Opti drive control are working now for quality and jitter scan.
I bough second SONY due to first one has problem with overheating (after 30-50 min of scanning it stops to recognize BDR).
Both drives historically wrote just couple BDRs (based on Smartburn utilits and Plextor utilits data).

Does anyone have the firmware to convert LITEON DH-16AFSH PREMM2 into LITEON DH-16AFSH PREEM1?
