i.) Pop the new EEPROM onto your 812S using LTNFlash 1.24 or greater
using the EEPROM tab. LOAD, then WRITE. Wait for programming to
finish.

ii.) Use the FLASH tab in LTNFlash with the 812S Selected to UPDATE the
firmware. Select the UPDATE BOOT CODE button, select the UPDATE
box and then browse to the VS04.bin or VS05.bin (or even VS0A.bin)
file of your choice.

iii.) Wait for the FlashROM to finish programming, then power cycle your
hardware



NOTES:

* DO NOT USE HACKED FIRMWARE to flash onto the drive when loading the .bin.
Use a REAL firmware such as the native VS03.bin or VS04.bin. Another
method would be to load the VS03.bin, then download the official VS0A
from LiteOn's web page and flash using this.

* After using this method of upgrade - you have a REAL 832S. All new
firmware's will work, no matter WHAT they do to the protection
mechanisms. You are IMMUNE to any of the crossflash issues. ^_^
