Problem z OptoRite DD0401

Kabel zasilający na pewno jest podłączony . Znalazłem w necie taka procedurę wgrywania biosu do pdnietego napędu jednak chciałem się zapytać czy ktoś już próbował naprawić napęd w ten sposób.

If you can't get past the drive detection disconnect power and plug it back in
at the first screen it'll tell you when

just place a floppy in the drive and run DD0401_RESCUE.EXE it
will format the disk and copy the files to it and then reboot

If it appears that the recovery is not working or that the computer
is not doing anything, please wait for about 10 minutes.
This is important...Mine stated something about "Flashing started"
and it would access my A: drive every 3 seconds or so.
Just let it run and do it's thing. In about 10 minutes or so,
it will say "Complete" or something similar.
Take the recovery disk out and reboot.
You should have power and the drive should be flashed to 120E firmware. Give it a shot. =)"
