Firmware version B1.5 This is the new baseline version for the
CD-Recordable/ReWritable drive CDD6911.

Base: B1.5
Current: B1.3

Update firmware

Improved writing strategy for TaiyoYuden CDR.
Better handling of unbalance discs.
Improved reading of 100min. discs.
US-RW 97:34:24 supported.


FOR EXTERNAL CDR-RW, DUE TO BUS CONSTRAINTS (PARALLEL, PCMCIA, USB),
NOT ALL IMPROVEMENTS MIGHT BE APPLICABLE.

Special notes:
1)
After downloading the flashtool, remove (if still available) any older flashtool from your
Hard Disk Drive, before you install the new Flashtool.

2)
Before you start reflashing the drive, determine the current Firmware version in your drive
and write down the newly required firmware filename from the list below.
This is important to be prepaired, when you are requested to select the correct
Firmware version from the list of Firmware programs, displayed on the screen.

3)
In some cases the Flashtool indicates the need to disable the "Auto Insert Notification".
When that happens, the Flashtool will ask you to reboot the system.
After reboot, start the FlashTool again.

4)
In specific cases the Flashtool will turn off DMA in your system.
When that happens, the Flashtool will ask you to reboot the system.
After reboot, start the FlashTool again.

Masz w tym pliku listę zmian jakie wnosi nowy bios: lepszy zapis CD z Tayo Yuden, lepsza obsługa krzywych cd, poprawione czytanie cd 100 minutowych, dodane wsparcie dla ultra speed cdrw 97 minut 34 sec 42 ramki.
Jak masz zewnętrzny napęd, nie wszystkie zmiany dostępne.

Sprawdż czy Twój napęd jest na liście w tym pliku, jesli tak, to zainstaluj flashtool i uruchom. Jak już masz flashtoola starszego, to go najpierw usuń. Dwa razy może Ci zrestartować kompa jeśli masz włączony auto insert i/lub dma. Po ewentualnym restarcie uruchom flashtoola jeszcze raz.

Czyli samo Ci wyłączy dma i auto inserta

Pełen automat :) tylko guzik wciskasz...

jedna uwaga, jesli masz WinXP to bardzo mozliwe ze nie wgrasz nowego BIOSu - wina chyba flash toola, ale glowy za to nie daje ;p
ja tez mam Philips'a i na XP nie dalo rady, dopiero w Win98 wszystko poszlo jak nalezy :)

sorki, ale co mnie twoj punkt widzenia obchodzi, nie o to tu chodzilo
tylko rzucilem male info (uwage), ale skoro masz 2k i nie bylo problemu ze sflashowaniem to uznaje ten topic za zamkniety :-o
