# Installation:

Simply run the flasher to load the firmware onto your SOHW-812S.
WARNING: Make sure that you select the correct drive when flashing!

# What is "burn-adjust" all about?
#
1) Speed fallbacks at the end of 8x burns have been removed for RICOHJPNR01.
2) Speed fallbacks at the end of 8x burns for bother media types have been
lessened.
3) Problems with upshifting some +R media on some burners have been fixed.
4) The 6x->8x +R upshift is now more aggressive (faster).

# Notes:
#
1) There are TWO versions of this patched firmware! One version has auto-
bitsetting enabled, and the other does not. Use the one that best fits
your needs and wants. (Actually, there are FOUR versions, if you count that
patched versions of both US0J and US0N are packaged...)
2) This firmware is NOT speedhacked! If you want to burn 4x media at 8x, etc.,
you will have to use our patcher tools to do the speedhacking yourself!
3) The primary purpose of burn-adjustment is to get faster and smoother burns.
In some cases, this has the side-effect of improving burn quality. In some
other cases, it might harm burn quality. It is recommended that you test
this firmware against the same firmware without the burn adjustment to see
if this works well for you.

Ja mam wgraną wersję 451@851. Ten jest tylko do 812. Poprawiono w nim zapis na słabszych nośnikach oraz podkręconych 4x@8x. Wersja autobs ma na stałe ustawione , że płyta + pali jakio dvd-rom.
Świetne firmware , dopiero teraz działa mi prawidłowo mod 451@851, pali na wszystkim!!!

wgralem ten bios co w tytule, ale rezultaty mialem gorsze niz po zaladowaniu oryginalnego biosu US0N, z reszta tak jak to napisali autorzy tych zmodyfikowanych biosow w txt od 812S.US0N.patched-burnadj_r2-autobs trzeba sprawdzic na ktorym nasza nagrywarka bedzie palic lepiej.

nagrywalem na nosnikach tdk DVD-R 4x i sprawdzalem krpobem 2.1.0
nie pamietam otrzymanych wartosci PI i PO ale w przypadku oryginalnego US0N byly troche (albo bardziej niz troche) lepsze niz w przypadku 812S.US0N.patched-burnadj_r2-autobs ponadto przy tescie tych plyt przy uzyciu Nero DVD Speed, plytka nagrana na zpachowanym biosie byla bardziej "szarpana" w napedzie niz na oryginalnym (plyta nagrana duza iloscia malych 1-4MB plikow)

polecam oryginalny us0n ale najlepiej jest wgrac i jeden i drugi i sprawdzic samemu jak jest.
dodam jeszcze, ze z tego co juz widzialem ludzie z zaladowanym biosem od 832S "Stock VS01 (unpatched)" twierdza (a twierdzenia popieraja screenami z kprobe) ze maja jeszcze lepsze wyniki PO i PI niz w przypadku biosu US0N.
