Here's the list of stuff on the cd.
It has two sections. One for boot-up utilities, another for after booting.
The desktop menu (as i call it) has multiple functions.
you can use the programs in desktop menu from WinPE/Bart's PE or even you normal windows desktop.
This way you can avoid having to install multitude of programs and testing each one to see if it fixes your problem.
All the programs from boot menu or desktop menu, run directly from cd, and nothing is ever actually installed in your system.
This way if you have to format and reinstall your op system, you don't have to reinstall everyting. you can just mount the image in virtual drive and run everything from mounted cd.
