I recently also was surprised that patchlevel 4 showed higher Total LDC but smaller avg LDC.

The latest version of qpxtool (v0.8.1 patchlevel 6) is out. It fixes an error in previous versions that resulted in an incorrect calculation of the average BD ECCR. Below is an example showing the difference between the latest version and a previous version (v0.8.1 patchlevel 2). You can see that the average BIS and LDC are much lower using the older version.
