Maybe one of the latest TSST drives has not the best support for that media ;-)

I'm sorry to hear those cards are not available there. Hopefully you can find an alternative.

iam impressed i have only 6 online 2x IDE and 4x SATA IDE iam using Marvel 6G and its also works good in Win10 x64

but no posiblility to buy in Poland or in Europe ;/

seku - I use BSLB on my DW1640 because it's considered to be the best firmware for scanning on that drive. For burning discs a newer firmware would be better, but I only use the drive for scanning.

I have 21 drives online in my 3 PCs (4 IDE + 17 SATA) at any one time. I don't have native IDE support on any of my motherboards, so my IDE drives are connected to StarTech PCIe IDE controller cards, which work very well. Each card supports two drives and needs a PCIe x1 slot.

and question how many drives u have in one time on-line in your PC
SATA/IDE or USB adapters od PCIe cards like MY Magvell 6g ?
