Technically, they look identical, hardware identical Ricoh M72 but have different bootcode and different firmware designations.

RIC. files should be uploaded by Ricoh Flesher.
I have included two that I have but work on W98 / W2000 / W XP but on newer computers I couldn't update either errors or I can't see the drive.
RFlash you can also make a copy of the firmware.

Thank you for the Ricoh flasher. I will try it, but I currently only have Windows 10 computers.

I tried on several computers with Windows XP and failed to update.
On Windows 10 I did not run the RICOH flasher.

Out of curiosity - ever tried compatibility mode? wnaspi32.dll in the same directory?

The flasher was able to find my drive when wnaspi32.dll was in the same directory, however it would not complete the update process, even in compatibility mode.
