lh wh16ns55 suggestions
 

hello i would like to ask about this drive. i crossflashed to various versions and found that crossflash it to wh16ns60 is the best bet. however i found that it didnt let scanning either with nero speed test ot the opti drive control. but idf i crossflash it to wh16ns58 1.v7 (vinpower) the scans are enabled. i havent het try to burn anything as wh16ns58. do you guys please have some light on this? also ther is a 1.v8 firmware for this drive but cant find it neither as updater exe or simply bin file.

The discquality tests in the Opti Drive Control program run on the VinPower software/firmware.

hello and thanks for the help. so i keep the bh16ns55 crossflashed as wh16ns58? im i correct that wh16ns60 didnt support disc quality scanning? and if keep it as wh16ns58 to retain dsk qulatily scanning, is there somewere the 1.v8 firmware? latest i found and flash is the 1.v7 as an exe. but if there is 1.v8 as exe or as bin im fine. again all that if this drive cant support disk quality scan as wh16ns60 because i read that wh16ns60 is the best fw revision for lg bdr if thats true

VinPower does not offer UHD drives, so there is no chance of a firmware version with support for discquality tests for the LG WH16NS60 model.
For the LG WH16NS58 model, VinPower has not released the exe firmware version 1.V8
