But is that case from QuestionAsker really QSI? Never had QSI BD-drives but my QSI-DVD-drives aka Pioneer DVR-220RS and DVR-S21 looks completely different.

LG writers mostly only 8x and 16x

But it also depends on the scanner.

Especially LiteOn iHBSx12 is much more sensitive than a LG...

LG drives since around a decade are greedy with burning speeds, better try to get a LiteOn or best a Pioneer BDR-drive

It have FW DL31 IIRC, i tried to update to DWD3 but have only the bin-file. The old trick to use a exe from drivers like 324 and drag&drop the other...
