Przejrzałem forum i widzę, że kilka osób już się tym bawiło, ale rzecz wydaje się na tyle ciekawa, że warto ją szerzej omówić (a przynajmniej stworzyć miejsce ku temu). Przyznaję, że sam przeczytalem o tym stosunkowo niedawno i jestem pod wrażeniem (przynajmniej na podstawie teorii - na praktykę przyjdzie niedługo czas

W skrócie chodzi o dodatkową funkcjonalność w aparatach firmy Canon, również w najprostszych kompaktach, z obsługą RAW włącznie, ale zdecydowanie nie tylko.
Póki co sprawdziłem tylko wersję firmware w swoim starym kompakcie Canona (IXUS 60) i wygląda na to, że nie powinienno być problemu z wgraniem tej wersji. W ten weekend mogę nie mieć czasu, ale na pewno w najbliższym czasie zapoznam się z tym dokładniem.
