There's always hope that unit will be defective and I will return it
Running at 5V/500mA (USB 2.0) doesn't seem to be sufficient for successful burns. I fear that the drive won't draw any extra current and there won't be any difference - otherwise it could damage regular USB ports. But I'll see.

Praca na 5V/500mA (USB 2.0) nie wydaje się wystarczająca do udanych wypałów. Obawiam się tylko, że napęd nie pobierze dodatkowego prądu i nie będzie żadnej różnicy - w przeciwnym wypadku mógłby uszkodzić zwykłe porty USB. Ale to się okaże.
