Thanks for the label and the information. I noticed from your label that your drive is (presumably) hardware version or revision A of that drive. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I believe mine is version B (or C). It would be interesting to know what the differences are.

I made a quick scan on the internet, and my guess is that hardware version A is linked only to units without LS, while TS-LB23L appear to have versions B and C. Looking at HP OEMs it seems that there were both versions B and C, depending on manufacturing date. From the units available on e-bay it looks that they made transition from H/W version B with F/W 0400 to HW ver. C with F/W 0600 between June 2010 and February 2011.
On
this page it's visible that there were even HP units with F/W 0500, but 0600 seems to be the latest one.
