Hi, zenonz. Sorry to hear about your drive. I've only used mine to burn discs so far, so I don't know if mine will start showing the same signs of deterioration as yours did.

I hope your BD-5750L works more reliably.

Strangely the drive still seems to burn perfectly fine every type of media, and while reading discs seeking time is just normal, no extra "chewing" and media gets identified properly. But the mystery will have to remain unsolved :-)
