i connected the asus 16dh1t to an old p5b-dx with intel sata controller in ide mode. i used a dvd+r live WinPE of Win8 32bit and used dosflash v2.0 to read the flash and it seems that it worked. the result is in the pic appended.
am i doing everything correctly? (i'll follow this guide:
DosFlash V2.0 patched to support BH16NS40/BH16NS55 drives )
could i try to write VinPower flash_HL-DT-ST_BD-RE_WH16NS48_1.D3.bin without brickin it? or is it too risky?
