I don't believe the problem is with the Power2Go, plus it was packed right with my Pioneer. A friend of mine burned this media at 2x speed on his Verbatim 43888 (with CDBurnerXP 4.5.8.7123) and the result was only slightly better than with my Pioneer 4x. You can see it in thread "Verbatim 43888-KIAB". ImgBurn is very old and I had problems with it burning media (CD or DVD, I don't remember) on some new Liteon burners so I don't use it.
I bought these media directly from German Amazon, in the attachment is a picture of the box.
