Yes, I thought that was odd. It could be a mistake on my part. But I would never use DL discs for DVD, BluRay etc. My main interest is in archival storage and as stated M-Disc is best for this.
It seems Ritek DVD M-discs from Ali Express is the best option for the DVDs. I did buy some Kodak Gold CDs in case I need that and I will probably buy some more when I find it. Yes, CD's can not store a lot of information but I want to have some in stock anyway for my archival needs. There are Milleniata DVDs and BD-R M-Disc but that is old stock and I can only find it in America, they don't ship to Europe and it is not in production any more.
Verbatim do have BD-R M-disc and they seem to be in production and easy to find in most part of the world. The brand is owned by CMC Magnetics in Taiwan, same as Ritek. Lets just hope they will continue producing optical media in the future even if the price goes up.
Anyway now I know that Ritech Archival grade is not as good as M-disc and that is what I wanted to know, that is why I posted in this thread.
