Optiarc DVD RW AD-5200A 1.09, 2,79 GB burned at 2x
MID: MXL RG01 (fake)
sold as "
Storquest 2x DVD-R"
Interestingly, this is a different disc from the first one I tested—it has completely different serial numbers and a stamper code (DVD-R 21-01), and unlike the first disc, it also has an IFPI manufacturer SID code of NZ06, which won’t help us with identification now and could have been fake anyway. The first tested disc was from Vivastar or the early Interaxia, back when it hadn’t yet clarified that it wouldn’t produce media for sale and would focus exclusively on supplying the manufacturing process to other manufacturers. This one could be from anyone; I’d guess some small Asian manufacturer, but there’s definitely a connection there, if only because of the brand and the same fake MID code. We’ll probably never solve this mystery.
