Also all firmwares are OEM and my flasher doesn't do much different than others. The reality is I found what I think is the best way to know if firmware A and B are compatible vs the older way of a hard coded human maintained list. As discussed pros and cons to both, I put the risk on the user but allow experiments like yours to educate us all. Older software limits willing users from even trying
