Now I successfully "recovered" the drive to firmware 1.V9. 
And I can confirm that writing CMCMAGBA5 media works with it again (does NOT work with 1.V2 and 1.V5, don't know about 1.V7).  |
!!original 1.v5 -1.v7 - 1.v9 all tested with CMCMAGBA5 - OK
may be some versions of FW (UHD) have an issue.
