I can confirm that burning with the Makemkv version of 1.V5 causes coasters. The 1.V5 available in the forum here was sent by me to czary2mary and doesn't have these problems but is not UHD capable. Anyway -I suggest to only burn with a Pioneer drive and only use the Vinpower firmware for doing quality tests after burning. That's what I do.

Yeah, I usually use my Pioneers for writing, occasionally I use my LiteOn writers, which I currently use for testing, to write a disc, and that's what I plan with the ASUS/LGs as well. If it works with 1.V9 now, I'm happy.
