UD02 can be flashed to UD04 but you gain nothing, I tried it. But it did flash with family bypass and back again. I tested a bunch today as I picked up a cheap UD02 but seems it wont work, OR my drive is faulty (it was cheap). So I dont see an issue you trying as I did teh same flash today and more and its now back as a UD02 fine. Just dont expect it to do anything. But maybe it will!
How did you manage to kill 3 UD02!?
