Verbatim disks are not fully supported by the firmware of our drives. It
has to do with Atep codes. Generally the old models were supported, new
models are not.
Please try using one of the brands of CD-R/RW recommended by Samsung.
These include: Samsung, Imation, Maxell, Sony, Fuji, Philips, Ricoh and
TDK.
