Maybe. Try change EEPROM date to, for example, 30.10.2003 and then flash EEPROM and FIRMWARE (HS0E) again. I did it and my 401@411 works fine as 811 without any problems with media and LED. Burning DVD+R 8x takes about 8 minutes (TDK DVD+R certified 4x (RICOHJPN) works fine as 8x  )! |
I did it, and the red LED is still on. Also after buring a dvd-rw at 2.4x is is on.
I have included my written eeprom, maybe anyone can again take a look at it?
