Will there be a difference other than burning speed if I update my Lite-On 24x CD Burner to Lite-On 52x CD Burner?
Will it have better burning capabilities to backup copy protected games more than the older one?

LTR-24102b cannot copy SafeDisc 2.8 or up, but the 52x models can copy up to SafeDisc 3.1.
The latest revision of SafeDisc is currently 3.15, which the 52x models seem unable to copy.
