Before we begin you'll need to make a 1.1 backup of your first cd using the safdisc4 settings in alcohol 120%.

1) make a folder on your desktop called NFSMW_DVD
2) copy cd4 into this folder, then cd3, then cd2, then cd1
3) selecting overwrite on all above
4) edit the (common_filelist.txt) so it reads

5) make a new folder inside the NFSMW_DVD called ***** and place the cd1 images inside here (IE you made a 1.1 backup of this at the begining).

6) also place (SD4Hide V1.0 2005) inside this folder.

7) install the game full, then install daemon tools 3.47 and resart your pc.

8) start deamon tools 3.47 up and mount the file that ends in .MDS out of the images of cd1, (you made these earlier and placed them inside the ***** folder on the dvd).

9) run the SD4Hide V1.0.exe and select the hide feature and start the game up by its normal shortcut..

ive tested this myself and found it to work fine, although ive heard of people having problems with the safedisc4 hiding prog, this i cant help with soz.

PS to play without using the dvd all you need to do is copy the whole ***** folder into your need for speed installed folder and load the image up from there.

(IF IVE MISSED OUT OR MADE A MISTAKE PLEASE LET ME NO).

1) Create a Temp folder on your harddrive.
Name this folder: NFSMW. This will be the name (Label) of our DVD.

2) Copy all the contents from CD1 to the Temp folder.
3) From CD2 copy the all the CAB and ZIP files to the same Temp folder.
4) From CD3 copy the all the CAB and ZIP files to the same Temp folder.
5) From CD4 copy the all the CAB and ZIP files to the same Temp folder.

6) Using the Notepad, open the file ***8216;common_filelist.txt***8217;. Change any lines which start with a ***8216;4***8217; or a ***8216;3***8217; or a ***8216;2***8217; to a ***8216;1***8217;.
(Example: Change the ***8216;2,1,pathfile***8217; to ***8216;1,1,pathfile***8217;. Do these all the way down the list! Make sure all the first numbers have been change to a 1).
NOTE: The first number indicates what CD the file is located on. Since we are now using just one DVD for all the files they can all be changed to a 1.

7) Create another folder/s for any Updates, Serial, Patches and or Cracks etc.
NOTE: Name this/these folder/s whatever you want.
(As there is no NoCD ***** available as yet you will need to create a Full Image of CD1 and copy it to the ***** folder you create!)

8) Burn the contents of the Temp folder to a DVD with the Label: NFSMW

OR

(Method 2 as Posted by ***8216;FREEMAN100***8217;)

1) Create a Temp folder on your harddrive.
Name this folder: NFSMW_DVD. This will be the name (Label) of our DVD.

2) Copy all the contents from CD4 to the Temp folder.
3) Copy all the contents from CD3 to the same Temp folder. Overwrite any files if prompted.
4) Copy all the contents from CD2 to the same Temp folder. Again overwrite any files if prompted.
5) Copy all the contents from CD1 to the same Temp folder. Again overwrite any files if prompted.

NOTE: There is not a NoCD ***** available for this game as yet so you will need to mount the Image using Daemon Tools!
Also copy the program ***8216;SD4Hide v1.0 to the ***** folder. Download SD4Hide here.

8) Burn the contents of the Temp folder to a DVD with the Label: NFSMW_DVD

To Play:

1) Do a ***8216;Full***8217; install of the game.
2) Then install Daemon Tools 3.47 and restart your pc.
3) Copy the ***8216;********8217; folder, from your DVD, into the folder where you installed Need for Speed Most Wanted.
4) Start Daemon Tools 3.47 and mount the Image file that ends in .MDS (It***8217;s in the ***8216;********8217; folder which you just copied to the hardrive!) If the game tries to start then just choose Quit!
5) Run the SD4Hide V1.0.exe and select the hide feature and start the game up by its normal desktop shortcut.
NOTE: SD4Hide may not work for everyone!
