I***8217;am doing a research on this circuit AD5933. The problem is during checking the circuit when I turn it on on default settings, I mean I was trying to measure the capacitor 15pF only without anything connected between VIN and VOUT. The process is doing by settings from PDF file EVAL AD5933EB. The jumpers are connected like in table 4 on page 5. The interface settings are according to this description.
After every parametr is approved (by click on the ***8222;Program registers***8221; buton) i try to start the sweep and the result is shown on added annex (test.JPG). You can see that the characteristic and the values of the impedance are not the same as they are in EVAL on page 9. The value of Gain Factor is very near the with the one Figure 14 page 9. Besides the ideal characteristic from the annex doesn***8217;t really look like the one from EVAL page 9.
When the jumpers are set as the are in table 4 page 5, with only one change jumpers LK 8,9 are removed (so the capacitor is removed) I try to calibrate the circuit using the following instruction and settings from EVAL page 18. Which are:
Output Gain Control: 2vp- p
Start Frequency: 30.750 kHz
PGA Control: 1x
Calibration resistor ***8211; connected beetwen ***8211; VIN I VOUT: 100 k ohm
Feedback resistor: 100 k ohm
The program miscalculate the GAIN FACTOR which impacts on the characteristic of impedance which is wrong.
I really need Your help, please. Because I don***8217;t know what is wrong is it the software or hardware or maybe I***8217;m doing something wrong when I configure the circuit.
