USB Device Driver for Windows 98/98 Second Edition

INSTALLATION OF THE DRIVER SOFTWARE
Before you begin you will require the following;
1x Blank 3 ½ Floppy disc
Please download the driver software and decompress the file onto the 3 ½ floppy disc
These files are only required when Windows®98/Windows®98
Second Edition is used.
NOTE: When Windows®2000 Professional, Windows®XP or Windows®Me is being used these Operating Systems have these files as part of there standard package and do not require any assistance. DO NOT CONTINUE WITH THIS INSTALLATION.
1. Plug the camera in and initialise the USB connection.
When "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog box appears, click [Next>].
2. When the dialog box appears, select "Search for the best driver for your device. (Recommended)" and click [Next>].
3. When the dialog box appears, put the check mark on "Specify a location:" and choose the folder on the 3 ½ floppy drive to which you have already saved the downloaded files. Click [Next>].
4. When the device driver is detected and the dialog box appears, Click [Next>].
5. When the installation of the driver software is completed and the dialog box appears, click [Finish].
6. When "Add New Hardware Wizard" appears again, click [Next>].
7. When the dialog box appears, select "Search for the best driver for your device. (Recommended)" and click [Next>].
8. When the dialog box appears, confirm that "Specify a location:" is checkmarked and choose the folder on the 3 ½ floppy drive to which you have already saved the downloaded files. Click [Next>].
9. When the device driver is detected and the dialog box appears, Click [Next>].
10. When the installation of the driver software is completed and the dialog box appears, click [Finish].
11. When "Add New Hardware Wizard" appears again, click [Next>].
12. When the dialog box appears, select "Search for the best driver for your device. (Recommended)" and click [Next>].
13. When the dialog box appears, confirm that "Specify a location:" is checkmarked and choose the folder on the 3 ½ floppy drive to which you have already saved the downloaded files. Click [Next>].
14. When the device driver is detected and the dialog box left appears, Click [Next>].
15. When the installation of the driver software is completed and the dialog box appears, click [Finish]. The installation of the driver software is completed.
Note: All three instances of the Add New Hardware Wizard need to appear for the full installation to be complete.
Once the installation is complete on all Windows® operating systems the CompactFlash card in this camera is detected as the removable disk and the icon of "Removable disk" is displayed in "My Computer" on Windows®.
