codeking i had the same problem like you. i flashed the firmware CX17.bin. After flashing back to CA11.bin my laptop drive always ejected the tray! So i kept searching for a solution. Finally i found it. I just made a serial flash with the program LtnFlash 2.5.52 (
http://www.movie2digital.de/filebase.ph ... c8eb81d8dc) to firmware CA11.
In the "Serial Flash" window you have to choose "Skip Area: Full Update"
After flashing, even if it doesn't indicate a success, continue with flashing the original EEPROM file from firmware CA11 using LtnFlash.
This option is called "E2" and is located in the main window of LtnFlash.
As EEPROM Length choose 0x2000.
The original CA11.bin and EEPROM CA11 are provided in this reply.
I hope this solves your problems
Now my drive is running smooth like before
