huh22 - I'm getting MUCH better results with M-DISC VERBATIMe. It's possible you got a bad batch, but the quality of those discs is usually pretty consistent. You may wish to try a test burn using ImgBurn instead of Power2Go. Earlier version of Power2Go, at least, were known to produce inferior burn quality.

I don't believe the problem is with the Power2Go, plus it was packed right with my Pioneer. A friend of mine burned this media at 2x speed on his Verbatim 43888 (with CDBurnerXP 4.5.8.7123) and the result was only slightly better than with my Pioneer 4x. You can see it in thread "Verbatim 43888-KIAB". ImgBurn is very old and I had problems with it burning media (CD or DVD, I don't remember) on some new Liteon burners so I don't use it.
I bought these media directly from German Amazon, in the attachment is a picture of the box.

Imgburn might be old but it is still considered to be the best burning software. I agree completely with jadburner's comment. So why don't you make your own burn comparison between Power2Go and Imgburn to see if that affects anything or if it is just caused by the discs?

I can do it when I have enough data to burn. But we've already used two different pieces of software (CDBurnerXP and Power2Go 11) and different drives (Pioneer BDR-XD08 and Verbatim 43888). Both results were bad.

Burning is so much yesterday and if you do so you should check out what's working best and not assuming anything. Comparing 2 bad apps doesn't say anything about the third. Imgburn is mature, not old. LUK always refrained from updating it because he saw no reason why to do it.

Imgburn is very good software and very small.
I see just one "-" point of Imgburn - no multisession available.

On the cover is japanese text (in translation) - White level (compatible with inkjet printers), but the surface is pearly white and smooth, I've never seen such a surface designed for printing.
