I did have some problems writing to a BD-RE XL with this drive, but it finally worked when I formatted the discs with a Pioneer drive first.

I have not tried the PlexTools write test, but I do have that option with BD-R XL and BD-RE XL.

Have you ever tried the BD-R XL 100GB test in PlexTool VinPower?

I do not detect the BD-RE XL program? Will you check at yourself?

Here is more information on them, including a photo. They are available at Amazon and eBay here in the U.S. They cost about $45 for a pack of 50.
