Funny thing is, I actually bought this exact type of spindle as a test, 5 years ago (Nov 2018)... :D But concluded they were shite vs the 43812 version I had at the time (which scanned much better). So never looked at those Mitsubishi ones after that (until now). |

Regarding Verbatims and Mediarange CMC BD-Rs to my personal observation, usually the Mediarange discs have a higher quality range than Verbatims, i.e. the differences between good and bad discs are higher, but I had Mediarange CMC BD-Rs with better quality than Verbatims, so you never know. Other thing I noticed is that up to 2 or 3 years ago a 50 pack had mostly same quality discs, with a few better a worse, nowadays it goes up and down all the time within the same 50 pack. And that's even visible, because some discs are darker than others, so if you look at the 50 pack from the side you can see the different darkness of the discs going up and down through the entire 50 pack, as if they mix the discs from different production lines more than in the past.
