Pioneer BD-R UD04FAL
Hello everyone,
I've got myself a UD04FAL that I want to use it for archiving some of my family photos and videos on 25gb mdisc. I did some testing with it and seems to behave decently on 25gb bd-re (verbatim) and 25gb bd-r ritek, but on mdisc it does not seem to be so good. All discs area readable but scanning them resulted in higher than expected errors. Is this normal for this type of unit ? Would a new firmware help with better burning strategies ? Many thanks for any info or help. Best regards, Cristian I downloaded DVRtool and below is the report.
