oczywiscie to dziala na plytach tylko z chipsetami od VIA
a daje to tyle, ze instaluje w systemie sterowniki dla AGP i szyny IDE (zeby DMA dzialalo jesli nie dziala ;) )
to dziala na tej zasadzie jak np. sterownik od grafy czy dzwiekowki, zeby to wszystko hulalo jak nalezy :jupi:

Dodam tylko, że w wersji 4.45 Hyperion NIE MA sterowników kontrolera dysków, więc trzeba go zainstalować oddzielnie - nazywa się to "VIA Bus Master(Ultra DMA) PCI IDE Driver" i jest do pobrania na www.viaarena.com

Ja podczas instalacji wyraźnie widzę, że można zainstalować bądź odznaczyć i nie instalować VIA PCI IDE BUS Driver. :)

ja osobiscie nie uzywam wersji 4.45
jezdze na 4.38 ;)
tylko one jakos mi sie wydaja najlepsze dla mojego sprzetu :D

instalacja pod win xp/200/nt a pod win98/me/se wygląda ineco onaczej

a poza tym to ja polecam sterowniki via4in1 4.x oznaczone dodatkowo WHQL (to chyba znaczy windows headqarters quality license... ale mogę się mylić) co oznacza że określona wersja była przetestowana i zatwierdzona przez microshit, że nie wysypie windowsa i takie tam... chyba||

Co do 4in1 WHQL to szczerze mowiac nie uzywalem, ale uzywalem sterow do muzyki z takim znaczkiem i juz wiecej nie bede. Win XP + SP1 Eng. po zastosowaniu certyfikowanych sterow juz nie wstal (( ( moze to SP1 to swietej pamieci ). Jak zastosowalem stare sterowniki niezgodne z XP to wszystko hula. Gdzie tu logika???

Mój błąd :) - miało być "nie ma menadżera VIA IDE Miniport" :)
Tak jak napisano na stronie VIA:


The VIA IDE Miniport driver does not install with the VIA 4in1 drivers. It should only be installed on systems with a VIA chipset and:

-IDE Zip drive, under all Microsoft operating systems, with a 686b southbridge chip
-ATA100 hard drives with Windows 2000 prior to Service pack 1
-ATA133 hard drives under Windows 2000 and Windows XP
-IDE Zip drives under Win2K - install the driver and then set the Zip-Drive to DMA disabled and PIO-Mode 1 in BIOS. Open the IDE Tool provided with Bus master Driver and set the Zip-Drive to PIO-Mode 3.
