Tym razem jest to BDR-XD07TB, który wpadł kiedyś w moje ręce już z wgranym najnowszym firmware.
Teraz już w pełni obsługuje płyty 4K UHD.

Kilka słów ode mnie...

Ponieważ mam kilka napędów Pioneer z firmware wydanym po grudniu 2022, od dłuższego czasu szukałem skutecznej metody na downgrade oraz crossflash do wersji UHD. Do niedawna jedyną osobą, która potrafiła wykonać downgrade takich napędów, był Billycar11 i miał na to pełny monopol. Na szczęście sytuacja właśnie się zmieniła.

Nie trzeba już płacić Billy'emu $200 za downgrade, bo pojawił się Trevor, który realnie odmienił temat.

Gdy tylko zobaczyłem jego post na naszym forum, od razu skontaktowałem się z nim bezpośrednio. Przesłałem mu zrzuty ekranu z MakeMKV wszystkich moich napędów z firmware po 12/2022, aby mógł je przeanalizować. W odpowiedzi Trevor przygotował dla mnie testową wersję swojego flashera, dzięki której w prosty sposób mogłem przejść z BDR-XD05T 1.22 prosto na BDR-XD06U 1.11 za jednym podejściem.

Program jest bardzo intuicyjny, posiada graficzne GUI, a Trevor dodatkowo przygotował instrukcję również w języku polskim. Cały czas rozbudowuje swoją bazę kerneli i firmware dla napędów Pioneer, dlatego uważam, że warto go w tym wspierać.

Udostępnił środowisko na stronie https://research.trev.bot/, gdzie znajduje się wersja beta aplikacji dla Windows. Jej zadaniem jest zebranie informacji o podłączonym napędzie (model, kernel, firmware, dane z MakeMKV itd.) i wysłanie ich na serwer developerski Trevora.

Skontaktowałem się z nim przez email: research@trev.bot. Otrzymałem flashera oraz pomoc. Program jest we wczesnej fazie testowej, więc w przypadku jakichkolwiek problemów wysyłamy Trevorowi pliki JSON do analizy.

Poniżej znajduje się screenshot z informacjami dotyczącymi mojego napędu, który kupiłem jakiś czas temu z zablokowanym firmware (poprzedni właściciel wykonał aktualizację).

A few words from me...

Since I own several Pioneer drives with firmware released after December 2022, I've been looking for an effective method to downgrade and crossflash them to UHD versions. Until recently, the only person capable of downgrading these drives was Billycar11, who essentially had a full monopoly on the process. Fortunately, this has just changed.

You no longer need to pay Billy $200 for a downgrade, because Trevor has stepped in and completely changed the situation.

As soon as I saw his post on our forum, I contacted him directly. I sent him MakeMKV screenshots of all my drives with firmware released after 12/2022 so he could analyze them. In response, Trevor prepared a test version of his flasher for me, which allowed me to easily downgrade from BDR-XD05T 1.22 straight to BDR-XD06U 1.11 in a single step.

The program is very intuitive, comes with a graphical GUI, and Trevor was kind enough to prepare a Polish language manual as well. He is continuously expanding his database of kernels and firmware for Pioneer drives, so I believe it's worth supporting his work.

He has made his environment available at https://research.trev.bot/, where you can find the beta version of his Windows application. Its purpose is to collect information about the connected drive (model, kernel, firmware, MakeMKV data, etc.) and send it to Trevor's development server.

I contacted him via email at research@trev.bot. I received the flasher and assistance. The program is still in an early testing phase, so if any issues arise, we simply send Trevor the JSON files for analysis.
