Sure but still doubt it will make sense. My oldest writers BTC DRW 1008IM and Plextor PX-708 have maybe not the mediacodes for actual 16x-media in FW and will write in low speeds with an universal strategy which will not lead to same quality as 8x with an actual LG, LiteOn or Pioneer.
I think I will stay with the speeds I prefer
Nah, there are no highspeed BD-R-media available yhich you can burn at 1/8 of specified speed (at least I don´t have seen any 16x BD-media)
