Hi!

I have BDRFlashtool , but i would need a Firmware files for Buffalo BRXL-16U3

I know it can be Flashed to BDR-211 so it can read UHD Disc´s .

So, i need a compatible FW files that Flash the BDR-209M (RS8600 HW) to BDR-211

Hi! New to the forum.

I've got an external iodata drive (iodata brp-ut6le) which contains a Pioneer BDR-UD03. 1.10 firmware from 2017. Works great for FHD.

I believe it's possible to cross flash a BDR-UD04 firmware to enable UHD, is that correct?

As far as I understood, it should be possible to flash this drive to read UHD-Blurays.

Can it be flashed using Linux or only with Windows?

Hi i have a Pioneer BDR-S12U burner. Is it possible to flash it from firmware 1.05 back to a firmware 1.01 or 1.02? Please help me to solve this problem.

Hello jadburner,

Thank you very much for helping out!!!

I read out the drive information of my Pioneer drive.
What confused me a little was, that the check marks for BD-R XL and BD-RE XL were already set.

Nevertheless I tried to start the flashing process and it stopped with the message "Drive and firmware hardware types don't match."

Any idea what could be wrong with this drive?
