Yes, downgrading and crossflashing those drives are usually not a problem, except if you end up on a post december 2022 firmware :)

"UHD" rated drive doesn't read 4k disks and can't back them up. Don't waste your money as this drive has the same 1.04 firmware problem as any other current...

Would it be possible to get the BDRFlash tool and firmware for a BDR-211EBK and BDR-S11JX? :) I've just ordered these drive, so haven't seen whats up in makemkv yet :P
