Nah it's the setup from imgburn. You should enable (check) the option to fast write.
In Tools, settings, write page 1 - DVD-RAM / BD-RE Fast write.

After some suggestions I did a laser cleaning and tried again some MDISC blanks.
I'm starting to believe that UD04FAL does not like this type of media from Verbatim (VERVAT-IMe)....

Pioneer BD-R UD04FAL

Hello everyone,

I've got myself a UD04FAL that I want to use it for archiving some of my family photos and videos on 25gb mdisc.
I did some testing with it and seems to behave decently on 25gb...
