I was flashing a UD03 to UD04 and I don't have any disks to check it with. Does this mean it worked?

That shows UD04 1.14 with LibreDrive enabled. You'll need a UHD disc to confirm it actually reads one.

Please try and click "Worked for you?" and register your approval so others see base firmwares or cross flashes have been tested by others

Cashkey1 please discord or pm me. I need to get responses to you. You did exactly what I told you not to do right after I said it. You tried to cross flash UD04 to something else. Its a UD02 running modified UD04 firmware. You cant just then make it a UD03 or anything else. Flash https://freemkv.org/firmware/find/?d...&revision=1.00 back to UD02 1.00 with recovery. Then flash back to UD04 (https://freemkv.org/firmware/find/?d...&revision=1.14) 1.14 with Flash. You will get it back. You keep flashing the wrong files.

0.17.2 will lockdown the special crossflashes (like UD02) so they can only go in the direction approved. So you wont be able to go UD02 > UD04 > UD03 it reads the hardware and says this hardware is only approved to go to these firmwares due to these additional settings needing applied. Nothing else will be affected

It should make it easier to add like UD03 support too so ill take a look just for completeness.

hi matt, i have installed discord in my handphone, never used discord before. dont know if my message got through to you. oh yes, for my 3 sets of ud02 which are successful in crossflashing to become ud04, i have kept them aside safely.
now, for the logs that i sent to you were a "Authentic Verbatim UD04 drive" that refuses to read blurays and uhd's. it only reads audio cd's. that's the drive that i am concentrating on now. seeing if crossflashing can bring it up to start reading blurays and uhds.

Dont even try it!! my 209xjb was a 8600 or 8800, and i then tried to change it to a 8601 or 8801, and it flashed, but now i am now having a nice dead pioneer to look at. Hehehehe!!

I have spent MANY hours on what to allow and what not to allow to provide you all the most reliable cross flashes while not locking you down needlessly.

IMO if you get a "wrong family" error and have to select bypass, you will brick your device. Its why I made clicking it not easy but everyone seems to want too!

The website matches this logic exactly, so if the website doesn't advertise a cross flash its because it can not yet be done.

Website says "21,838 crossflashes" as of right now, people always want more We were at maybe what, 20 a month ago!?!

Don't worry, I like to play it safe, won't risk any of my Pioneers, as bad as the two 211s are.
Was nervous enough to recover the ASUS/LG with you.

Wouldn't mind to turn one of the 8800s into a test drive though, if possible.
