Other reason could be that Firmware Updater doesn't contain Kernel Mode Firmware file.
Maybe they are somewhere, but not when I try to extract files from Installers.

crossflash from Pioneer BDR-S09XLT to Pioneer BDR-211M worked.

Product-Code is still BRD-S09XLT, but Kernel and Firmware are shown as SAT8800 ID60.

hi, what tool do i need for the crossflash ?
i tried DVRTool by using -ff BDR-211UBK_EBK_ELD_FW154EU E: but don't work

another question: when downloading the pioneer firmware there are 2 files in the folder. do i need both ?

BDR-211UBK_EBK_ELD_FW154EU
BDR-211UBK_EBK_KAI_FW154EU

my Pioneer BDR-X09XLT have newest fw already but the folder also contain 2 file, not sure wich one is installed !?

BDR-S09XLB_XLT_KAI_FW155EU

i saw ur screenshot have a tool names BDRFlash, where to get ?

Carefull with firmwares 1.54 for 211 series drives, and 1.55 for 209 series drives! They come with the crossflash and downgrade protections already!
