My original drive is BDR-209EBK with firmware v1.51 dated on 21-05-2018 and I want to crossflash this drive to BDR-211EBK firmware v1.53 dated on 20-08-2020.

209 series 1.54 should be from 2020, thus it should work. Just don't update to 1.55. And don't use 211 series 1.54!

If the date of your version 1.54 firmware is before December 2022, then yes. Otherwise, no.
