A quick catch-up since my last update: trev.bot beta.84 is available. Recent releases have added these flashing options for matching drives:

• BDR-212DBK 1.02/1.03 to BDR-S12U 1.02.
• BDR-212EBK 1.05 to BDR-212U 1.05.
• BDR-XS07 1.01/1.04 and BDR-XS07U 1.04 to BDR-XS07U 1.01.
• BDR-X12 1.04 to BDR-X12U 1.04.
• More BDR-XD07 1.06 variants, plus BDR-XD07U 1.06, to BDR-XD07U 1.04.
• BDE-PR1JAME 1.01, BDR-209MIO 1.54 and more BDR-209M 1.54 variants to BDR-211M 1.53.

Firmware surveys have expanded too, including Epson PR1EPDV 1.10, BDR-X12U 1.04 and BDR-208M 1.51, alongside improved Epson EP3 and BDR-TD05 survey handling. Thanks to everyone sending reports and feedback.

Could you tell me why many people choose the Pioneer BDR-212U firmware (or similar) instead of the S12JX? Personally, I install the MAX S11/S12 firmware versions to use the Pioneer utility for enabling Silent Mode foremost. To be honest, I almost never need UHD, since I mostly burn discs

Yes. JX is just for audio purposes but the firmware is not supported by Mike to support Libredrive.

You're right. Marty's flasher has worked for LG drives for years, and I wasn't suggesting otherwise. LG support in 1.0 means trev.bot now handles supported LG drives through the same guided check and flash flow as Pioneer. If Marty's flasher already works well for you, there's no reason to switch.

This update adds support for more Pioneer and LG firmware versions, improves drive settings, and makes Pioneer firmware reads faster on supported adapters.

Check your drive in the app to see the options available for its exact model and firmware.

Changing settings such as PureRead on applicable Pioneer drives doesn't require a license. The version 1 intro rate is still active with Pioneer flashing at $19.99 for all of your devices (this isn't a per drive license) and LG flashing is $0.00.
